ADDS 2.0 Dispensing System
The ADDS 2.0 System dispenses 27-36 medications in nonuniform, unit-of-use packages, and holds between 10 and 20 units of each individual medication (270+ total units).

ADDS 2.0 is ideal for dispensing nonuniformly packaged meds such as pediatric suspensions, oral contraceptives, inhalers, small IV bags, ophthalmics and topicals. The standard ADDS 2.0 houses three horizontal drawers, each holding nine spiral helixes, which can hold 10 to 20 units of one medication. An optional 4th drawer is available.

The cabinet is narcotics-secure and dispenses one unit-of-use packaged medication at a time. The selected medication drops from the appropriate internal shelf into a drawer, which provides the healthcare worker with access solely limited to the individual prescribed medication which has been previously approved and released by the controlling pharmacist.

In direct response to the technical needs of our VA and DOD customers, Telepharmacy Solutions has developed an additional series of proprietary dispensing software packages, which work with all cabinet models to interface to their respective legacy software.

ADDS 3.0 Dispensing System
The ADDS 3.0 System dispenses 60 different unit-of-use packaged medications and holds 18 bottles of each medication, for a total capacity of 1080 bottles.

ADDS 3.0 dispenses oral solid meds repackaged in standard plastic bottles that are stored in and gravity dispensed from vertical columns within the ADDS unit.

Medications are individually dispensed through an opening at the lower front of the ADDS unit. Like all Telepharmacy Solutions cabinets, the ADDS 3.0 units are narcotics secure.

Multiple ADDS units can be connected to satisfy larger clinics.

The ADDS 3.0 can be installed on top of the ADDS 2.0 to minimize floor space requirements.

PC, Bar Code Reader and Laser Printer
ADDS systems operate on a Windows-based PC. A standard laser printer is used to print patient specific labels and medication education monographs.

The bar code reader serves as a safety verification mechanism for quality assurance. If for any reason an incorrect, or expired medication is dispensed, ADDS software immediately notifies the user and blocks the printing of the patient specific label and/or medication monograph.
