ADDS 8.0 System
Under pharmacist control, the ADDS 8.0 System dispenses single units of up to 80 medications in non-uniform, unit-of-use packaging. This narcotic-secure unit houses 8 medication trays, each with up to 10 rows of spiral helixes and configurable to store 5 to 30 units per medication. The ADDS 8.0 is ideal for dispensing pre-packaged oral solid tablets and capsules, pediatric suspensions, oral contraceptives, inhalers, small IV bags, ophthalmics, topicals and other non-uniformly packaged unit-of-use medications. After dispensing, the patient is counseled by the pharmacist via a telecommunications link, which can include voice and video transmission.
