ADDS 2.0 - Nonuniform Package Dispenser
Capacity: 3-4 trays, with 9 helixes per tray, for total capacity of 27-36 helixes/medications per cabinet.
A wide assortment of helix widths are available to handle various sized unit-of-use drug packages. Helix width may impact the unit count per helix.
The ADDS 2.0 Cabinet stores and dispenses from 27 to 36 nonuniformly packaged unit-of-use medications, and holds between 10 and 20 units of each individual medication. (Total capacity=270-720 units)
ADDS 2.0 cabinet is ideal for dispensing pediatric suspensions, oral contraceptives, inhalers, small IV bags, ophthalmics, topicals and other nonuniformly packaged medications.
ADDS 2.0 cabinet is configurable to hold three or four horizontal drawers, each housing nine rows of spiral helixes. Each helix contains 10 to 20 units of one medication.
ADDS 2.0 cabinet is narcotics secure and dispenses medications one unit-of-use package at a time.
The selected prescribed medication drops from one of the internal shelves, down into an openable drawer, which provides the on-site healthcare worker with access solely to the single item released by the pharmacist.
